Seth and Lena's Birthday

For Seth's birthday I baked some "made-from-scratch" cupcakes.  I surprised him during 5th period with the cupcakes and a yummy lunch.

That night we sang to Seth and Lena and enjoyed the rest of the cupcakes!

Lena's First Birthday Party

To celebrate Lena's First Birthday we had friends and family over for a morning of fun and birthday doughnuts.  In the backyard we set-up a bouncy house, a decorate your bucket activity, sidewalk chalk, and of course the sandbox.  Everyone had a great time, especially the birthday girl.  Lena was smiling so hard we were afraid she would hurt her face!

Playgroup Pizza Party

For St. Patty's Day our playgroup meet for pizza downtown and the kids got to make their own pie!  They all had a lot of fun, though I am not sure how Irish it really was... :)

"Work"

Now that Seth has pretty much finished up the inside of our house he has begun to turn his full attention on the outside of the house.  He is currently working on killing and tearing up the front "lawn", and by lawn I mean collection of weeds.  Thomas has taken this very seriously and often tells me how he needs to do more "work" with daddy when he gets home.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

March 2 is Dr Seuss' Birthday, and being the perpetual teacher that I am, we of course had to celebrate! No Dr. Seuss birthday party would be compete without reading Green Eggs and Ham and then eating some! We added a candle and sang Happy Birthday too!

Then it is time to make some Oobleck, like that which rains down on the Kingdom of Didd in the Dr. Seuss classic Bartholomew and the Oobleck.

All in all a very fun day!
