Visiting Baby Andrew

 Ring, Ring

Jen: Hello

Steph: Hi Jen, what's up with you?

Jen: Not too much, butter and eggs was today, went and saw the parade, how about you?

Steph: Oh not too much, had a baby today (note: Steph was due June 10th)

Jen: HAHA very funny

Steph: no really

Jen: You are such a liar

Steph: No really

Jen: A baby puppy?

Steph: No a baby boy

Jen: Yeah right, let me talk to Matt

Steph: Matt's not here right now

Jen: I knew you were lying!

This goes on for awhile, after about 5 minutes Jen finally starts to believe poor Steph!  Turns out baby boy Coleman (soon to be called Andrew William) made an early appearance on April 24th at 1:43pm.  He weighed 5lbs 9oz and was 18.5in long.  A couple of days later, bearing magic cookie bars, chex mix, and some premie clothes, I got to meet little Andrew at the Sutter Hospital in Sacramento.

One Lap of Marin

Seth and Jen joined the Northern California Alfa Club for their annual "One Lap of Marin" in the green Alfa.  The tour started at in Sausalito with bagels and coffee and continued to Tomales for lunch where we broke off and headed for home.  There were about 75 Alfas total and they ranged in vintage from the 1950s through 1990s.

Thomas' Third Birthday

To celebrate Thomas' third birthday we Noni and Nono had us over for pizza, cake, and presents.  Thomas really "got it" this year, especially with having Seth and Lena's birthday so close.  He was so excited to blow out his candles and loved his big present an electric Thomas the Train.

He's here, no he's not, yes he is!

On March 31st we were all set to meet up with Beth and Sophie at the zoo, when she called saying she thought her water might have broke.  I immediatly offered to meet her at the hospital and take Sophie to the zoo while they checked her over.  Sophie and Thomas had a lot of fun.

An hour later I got a call from Beth letting me it was a false alarm and that the hospital discharged her and she would meet us at the zoo for lunch.  We had a nice lunch then headed home.  Imagine my surprise when the next morning we got a call from Steve to let us know that little James Detwiler was here!  We headed into the city to meet him.
